After months of talking it up, dreaming and scheming, jumping through the bureaucratic hoops, ducking and diving the red-tape, and doing the logistics jig, we have arrived.
The flight over was the first of successive highlights. We have our friend Lauren Hearty to thank for a pair of international, first-class tickets - unprecidented luxury was an incredible boon for an eight hour flight - fine wines and fully horizontal sleeping were equally appreciated.

From Micah's perspective, Barcelona smaks of multiple Italian cities previously visited - strolling through narrow pedestrian alleys, grazing on tapas sandwiches (bocadillos) and indulging in Italian gelato, the throngs of locals and tourists following no semblance of order as they rub shoulders and chat in dozens of varying languages.
Steph fits right in, both in appearance, dress, and linguistic skills - it's gonna be difficult to run with a new language when she provides such an easy crutch. "Just smile and nod, ol' boy, they'll assume you too know what is being said in this conversation."

Portugal is next - a belated celebration of five years of marital adventure, joy and love. God is good, and remains faithful. The specifics are a surprise (she already guessed Portugal...after months of it being under wraps), but you, my dear reader, will know soon enough. We leave Friday.
You have definitely hit the ground running. So good to see you two there in the adventures God has for you. Godspeed always.
